The Drive Partnership – which is made up of Social Finance, Respect and SafeLives – welcomes the news that the Home Office has now opened the application process for PCCs in England and Wales to apply for grant funding to support the introduction of perpetrator-focused domestic abuse programmes in their area.
Quality perpetrator work must always incorporate a quality victim response. We look forward to seeing how this funding will be used by PCCs and partner organisations to support perpetrator-focused domestic abuse programmes that increase safety for victims-survivors, including children.
The areas of focus within the fund are:
- Programmes that address known issues in relation to DA offending
- Programmes that focus on children and adolescents
- Programmes aimed at stalking perpetrators
Find out more about the areas of focus and further information here.
The funding period is from 1st August 2021 – 31st March 2022, and there is a 4 month match funding requirement which can be in kind. The closing date for applications is 2nd July 2021 at 12pm.
